This week I ordered a fruit basket for a friend who lost her brother. I ordered it on line about 12 noon. I requested it be delivered that day, but I was not sure if there was enough time. Well, my friend sent a thank you to me about 4 PM that same day. She said the fruit basket was awesome and was so appreciative to receive it so soon. I sent a thank you to Mr. Alan Florist to tell them what a great job they did. Three years ago, my brother and I wanted to give our mom a 90th birthday party. She was getting ill, and we wanted the party to be perfect for her. Her favorite flower was gardenias, so I wanted to surprise her at the party with a gardenia corsage. I went to Mr Alan and they said no one carries gardenias, so they called to California and contacted a place that would ship gardenias overnight, but you had to purchase at least three. I said because of the size of gardenias, I only wanted two for the corsage, but I would take the three so mom could have her corsage. Well Mr Alan made a beautiful corsage with two gardenias, and when I picked it up, they told me they found someone who would purchase the third gardenia. They were so thoughtful to take their time to help me out and saved me money. I ordered a few arrangements through the years, but these two situations stand out as a place that I would definitely go back to and highly recommend. Patricia Donlon
